"I do not understand this 'mouse magic' that makes me do your bidding."
I finally got my hands on the Enhanced Edition. Wanted to buy it since it was announced but stuff happened and I pushed it in a dark corner of my mind for later. So, off we go then. It's not organized at all, more like a gathering of random thoughts. More than ten years since the last time I touched Baldur's Gate, I'm still in love with it and with Edwin (you can thank him for the post's title). I've missed his insufferable jerkiness and constant insults, like really missed him (he was my favorite character, with Sarevok and Irenicus but the last appears in BG2).

I like how my party complains that they're tired and want to sleep asap. Or insults each other when their alignments clash. And being able to write in the journal is a big big plus: the journal is where the quest list is kept. You can add personal entries to it, it pretty cool and enforce the role-playing aspect of the game. My character is a chaotic good archer by the way, I wanted to go for neutral but ranger can only by good so went for chaotic good. Got all excited when I'm stumble upon Drizzt (geez, I used to cheat and summon him all the time back then) and fought at his side.

There's much more to say, but I just said to antliae_1 that I'd be doing some sort of review/journal of what happens in the game, chapter by chapter. You should have a better idea then.

I was already fan of fantasy at the time (thanks to my brothers XD) and Baldur's Gate made me completely obsessed. The Forgotten Realms just roxx so much.
