Weeping feet
I indeed saw my friend. We stayed together the whole afternoon in fact (and with the six children she's keeping an eye on). I had to take the metro back to St. James to be on time, St. James being next to Buckingham Palace. Then we walked to Oxford Street (yes, again) but we passed by Piccadilly because the kiddos wanted to do some shopping. I don't mind but standing still for more than a few minutes gets painful for me and once the pain's here, it won't go away, even though I'm moving. If I'm resting, it'll just tone down a bit. Anyway, the worse was the end of the walk from Oxford Street to Waterloo to take their train back to Weymouth. The worse though was when we traversed the Golden Jubilee bridge and till the end; the poor kiddos were complaining nonstop XD

Oh gods. I haven't walked that much in a long time, or rather, the standing still bit, which is what truly killed me XD So much I ended up taking the metro back to Victoria. Well, I also wanted to be back at the hostel to get dinner since they eat early here: dinner is served from 6:30pm to 8pm when I'm used to eat at 10-ish pm, or 9:30 at the earliest.

I did some groceries, again. Sugar, snack (well, a big jar of pears in syrup) and some apple squash when I won't feel like drinking tea. So, should've enough to last for my whole stay. For the squash and sugar anyway, I'm more than doubtful for the pears.

I'm still unsure about what to do tomorrow, either going back to Picadilly to explore the bookshop there but I'd like to keep my money so that might not be the best course of action. Or maybe going to Canary Wharf, which is 2 hours away according to Google Maps. What's sure though is that I must be back to Victoria at 6pm: they organize a friends & family dinner where Aku works and she invited me, so tomorrow, it's free dinner (I'll just have to pay for the drinks).

Pics from Buckingham Palace & St. James are here. And the stuff I bought just here. The comics was given to me though.

The hardest is having to stand still, which is why my feet hurt in the first place and that's the kind of pain that stays (even when I was back in my room, my feet still hurt).

Otherwise, it takes me much more walking than that to have sore feet. Bless the years of being a scout XD

All the cool stuff! Except for the pain =P Feel better! You'll need to be back on your feet in every sense of the word! ;P

Yay for more stunning pictures that didn't come to look that way naturally! :D
